When starting Whiskers Holistic Petcare 35 years ago, we knew very little about natural healthcare for ourselves no less our pets. Through a series of personal events with our own dog Tiffany-Anne, we came to learn a whole new world of petcare starting with food and ending with opening Whiskers Holistic Petcare.

Think of this... what do you actually know about your pet's physical makeup? Obvious things we know are their sex, their breed, their color, weight, maybe likes and dislikes regarding food, treats and toys. But what about their inner system? Unless you are the type of person who regularly visits a vet for yearly checkups, we don't come to know what's going on inside until something drastic happens. An emergency occurs or an accidental finding during a checkup.

What happens then? What do we do? How can we fix the issue? Is it too late? All the millions of questions pop into our heads. And now trying to fix the problem leaves us working in emergency mode or worse yet, under high stress levels... not good for us or our pets.

PREVENTION IS THE CURE

So just what does this mean. What is PREVENTION? As the word implies... PREVENTING SOMETHING FROM HAPPENING BEFORE IT ACTUALLY HAPPENS!

And just how can we know what's going to happen before it actually does? Well, obviously we can't really know. But we can use maintenance (like we do for our cars and our appliances and computers etc.) Maintaining them in good working order. And how can we do that with our pets and our own bodies? Being focused on what we put in our bodies and our pet's bodies is the best way to maintain the best health.
